Your generous financial support — in whatever amount — is essential.

The Cloisters on the Platte is supported entirely by private donations. We receive no financial support from any religious institution or governmental entity. The mission is made possible through goodwill donations made by all retreatants. Each gift, no matter the size, goes directly to keeping the grounds beautiful, the facilities maintained, and all other aspects of the retreat operations running smoothly.

You can give cash, check, credit card, or EFT/ACH on location. You can also make donations via credit card HERE.

The vision of the Cloister’s is to continue to operate on goodwill donations so anyone who feels that they would benefit from the Ignatian retreat format is able to attend. We expect that every retreatant will give something. However, we know there are those that can afford to give larger gifts ($5,000, $10,000, etc.) as well. We hope individuals and families who have the means will make a gift knowing their generosity allows the Cloisters to operate without charging a flat rate.

Gifts through your donor-advised fund, IRA, life-insurance policy, trust, estate will, etc., are a great way to ensure the Cloisters thrives for hundreds of years. Please email friends@cloistersontheplatte.com and a member of the Cloisters team will reach out to answer your questions.

The Cloisters on the Platte and Stations of the Cross were constructed as a gift to the community. Sustaining both will require generous contributions from the community of people who wish to preserve this truly unique spiritual experience.

2022 Patron Supporter Levels

$60 Individual:  Benefits for one listed member.

$100 Couple:  Benefits for two listed members; or one listed member and one guest.

$130 Family:  Benefits for two listed members; or one listed member and one guest.  Also includes six children (ages 1 – 18)

Patron Supporter benefits are non-refundable and non-transferable.  As a 2022 patron, you will be asked to present your active Patron Supporter Card and a valid I.D.  2022 Patron Supporter Cards expire 12/31/2022.
